Council members and meetings
CCW’s Council members are responsible,
individually and collectively, to the National Assembly for Wales
for providing effective leadership for the organisation. They are
also responsible for setting CCW’s policy and for making sure it
meets its objectives within the statutory, policy and financial
framework laid down for it.
Members are accountable to the National Assembly for Wales,
users of services, individual citizens and staff for the activities
of Council, its stewardship of public funds and the extent to which
key performance targets and objectives have been met.

or part of the open session as observers. Times shown are
indicative only. Copies of open session papers are available from

We accept written representations on agenda items. These will be
copied to Council members, provided that they are no longer than
one side of A4 and are received before close of play on the
preceding Thursday prior to each meeting.
